FAQs

How far in advance should I book?

Wedding planning priorities differ for each bride. Some brides often book as far out as 2 years in advance, so if beauty is important to you, reserve your Stella Fatalé team ASAP – as in as soon as you have your date and venue!

Do you have dates for this year?

Because scheduling sometimes changes and last minute dates may not have booked, my team and I may be able to accommodate your wedding even if it’s last minute. If you are concerned about the close timing, schedule a Bridal Coffee Date so I can personally go through your details to see how I can help.

Can you hold my date?

I definitely understand the importance of selecting a beauty team, however, my team and I get inquiries on a daily basis and can not hold dates. Dates are first come first serve and are not held for any reason. So lock us in if you are leaning our way!

What is needed to reserve my date?

Dates are reserved with a signed contract and paid retainer. One you are booked, we often turn down other brides, therefore there are no exceptions to this part of the booking process.

Do you travel and what are the fees?

Our first Bridal Coffee Date and Inspiration Session are held virtually. Preview sessions are most often held in my Toms River studio but if you need other accommodations, we can chat about it. THEN, on your wedding day, your beauty services are always in the comfort of your selected bridal suite (home, hotel, or at the venue).

As an onsite beauty service company, I don’t see the fairness in charging you a separate “travel fee.” Any regular expenses for travel within New Jersey are already factored in so there are no “fees” or surprises. If you have a wedding in the bordering states or a destination, we will discuss the details to find the right package for you as well!

How do I book you?

I appreciate a woman who knows what she wants and gets it, but since this is such an important day, we will take it one step at a time. We start with a virtual Bridal Coffee Date so you can tell me your wedding ideas. Plus, you get to meet the actual person who you would be trusting on your big day. Then, I will create and email a completely personalized package proposal based upon our chat. When you submit your proposal, I will put together your contract for you to sign and we get to planning!

What is your payment terms?

A retainer is due upon signing the contract. The remaining balance is broken up into payments, depending upon how close to the wedding you book. The final payment is due 30 days before the wedding. I accept Venmo, ApplePay, and credit/debit cards.

When should I schedule my Preview Session?

The most realistic and productive Preview stylings are held between 3-5 months from the wedding. I suggest we start with our Inspiration Session at the 6 month mark to discuss possible styles and determine which timeframe would be best for your vision. If you are considering using any type of hair extension or making color changes, 5 months out from your date is a perfect time to schedule in case additional appointments are needed to achieve your desired style (color and length included).

I don’t have my veil or headpiece. Can I still have a Preview Session?

As long as you selected your wedding dress and we have had our inspiration session, we can go ahead and schedule your Preview Session.
